Fairy Hill to Stanley Ferry Canal ride

This is a flat,safe and scenic ride along the canal from Fairy Hill Mooring point at Whitwood, Castleford to Stanley Ferry Marina, just outside Wakefield. Leaving the boatyard at Fairies Hill boat yard, we ride all along the canal from Whitwood, Altofts and then ride over the bridge onto the opposite side of the canal into the Fayre and Square public house grounds at Stanley Ferry.Then we can either have a drinks break on the seats outside or grab a coffee etc from the pub - depending on the weather. We then retrace our steps back to Whitwood car park.
