Winslow - Route 51 Fun

Drop the kids at school and come for a gentle ride along the Route 51 cycle route. We’ll meet at the rear entrance to Henry's of Winslow, a lovely coffee shop with garden.  Please click here which gives a picture of where and what it looks like if you're not sure which car park.  After a quick warm up and a quick bike check we’ll head out to Swanbourne.  The ride is 9.5 miles but we can turn back earlier or continue further depending on the group’s ability and what you would like to do. This is mainly traffic free but a small portion is on very quiet country lanes at the back of Swanbourne. Most bikes would be suitable, but perhaps not the skinniest road tyres due to the nature of the trail. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too!  Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. This is a lovely, gentle, scenic ride through the countryside, returning to coffee and cakes at Henry's of Winslow – hope you’ll be able to join us!
