Ride in Wirral - West Kirby Marine Lake to Thurstaston

Why not come and meet the Wirral Breeze champions Fiona and Jen for a family fun bike ride!  As this is a family ride children who are aged 10 and upwards can come and also any little ones in a child seat on mum's bike or a trailer. The ride will start at the South End of West Kirby Marine Lake (Furthest end away from Morrison's) and we will then take a leisurely ride along the Wirral Way and on towards Thurstaston.  When we arrive at Thurstaston we will stop at Wirral Country Park for a well deserved snack/picnic before riding back.  Dusting off that bike - We want your bike to be road worthy so why not pop along to your local bike shop and ask them to check it over for you if it hasn't been used for a while.  If you haven’t got a bike - then why not pop along to Bikes and Boards in West Kirby or Moreton Cycles who will hire you a bike.  Or why not visit Off The Rock in Liscard, all these bike shops are supporting Breeze on Wirral.  The bike shops will also offer a discount to Breeze riders. We are a friendly bunch of ladies who would love to take you on a fun and social bike ride.  We welcome newcomers to Breeze rides and all abilities are welcome too! It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful.  Don't forget your waterproofs with our British weather!!!  Wearing a helmet is essential.
