About the route
Cycle from The Whitehouse, Maryhill at Maryhill Locks (Lock 21) to The Stables Restaurant just before Kirkintilloch. The cycle takes place along the canal tow-path.
The Stables Restaurant is an ideal stopping place for a refreshment, and the route is almost entirely flat.
Bring suitable clothing and be aware that this ride is not for complete beginners.
