Outside Richmond tube/train station

A lunchtime ride! After a gentle loop of Richmond Green, we head into Richmond Park. We cycle past Roehampton Café, through Pens Ponds, along the river at Ham and over Kingston Bridge. Here we turn left down the traffic-free towpath around Hampton Court. We walk past the maze (since cycling is not allowed here) then enjoy a beautiful traffic-free wiggle on bikes through Bushy Park. We return via quiet roads over the footbridge at Teddington Lock, and end our ride back in front of Richmond Station. You will be looked after, and no one will be left behind! Coffee and cake/sandwich, or a bowl of soup at the lovely Pheasantry in Bushy Park about halfway. This ride is suitable for all bikes. Please ensure however that yours is in good working order! (Note: bicycles are allowed on the District line) A helmet is compulsory. Arrive by 10:45am! We will spend a couple of minutes over introductions, and a safety/bike check. See you!
