Breeze in the Park - Middlesbrough

London 2012 has proved to be one of most significant and game-changing times for women’s cycling and we want to celebrate this unprecedented era and invite you all to Breeze in the Park. The Breeze network, teaming up with Middlesbrough Council’s Cycling Sundays, will be transforming Prissick Base into a bike riding haven as we encourage women to take to their bikes with friends and children and join others to celebrate this success.  Sneaky peak of what’s in store: Meeting place – Middlesbrough Cycle Circuit in Prissick Base which is situated in the park, just follow the path from the car park and you will see the Breeze banners outside of the clubhouse! We'll be here from 10am - 1pm. Come and ride around the park at your leisure or take part in the rides with our Breeze champions that will be taking place around the park for all ages and all abilities. The start point of these rides will be outside the café, and will last around 30 minutes. Breeze tea party - This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the Breeze Network and meet like-minded women. They’ll be lots of things to do to keep the children entertained and amused. We’ll provide some refreshments but perhaps it might be worth bringing a few pennies if you want something more substantial. For families who don’t mind getting a bit muddy and want a little bit of adventure, you'll also have the opportunity to test your skills on the Cyclo Cross Circuit after your Breeze bike ride! Don’t worry we have a jet wash for the bikes and showers for the riders. Middlesbrough Cycle Centre will also be providing a FREE Dr Bike check up for minor repairs to make sure your bike is in tip top shape before and after your Breeze ride!  There will also be refreshments available. This will be Middlesbrough’s second Cycling Sunday event and has a range of different activities taking place in the park all day. The fabulous 3Sixty bike stunt team will be strutting their stuff and they'll be regional cyclo cross racing should you wish to watch some of the regions top riders getting muddy on their bikes!
