About the route
Starting at Seaburn Metro we head to Washington & onward to Millenium bridge before catch NCN72, (keelmans way) up to Newburn. Here we climb to Heddon on the Wall before cycling along the military road. Before reaching the A69, we descend into Ovingham for refreshments at the White Swan hostelry.
We return to Wylam and back onto NCN72 all the way to North Shields to catch the ferry. Onward back home :-)
