A Meander along to Craigleith

This is a lovely short ride taking in Roseburn Park and on towards the Russell Road zig zags where we will join the cycle path along to Craigleith Shopping Centre. We will have the option of a quick coffee and then we return on the same path.
We’ll meet at Balgreen Tram Stop for a quick bike check. Then we’ll head out to the Water of Leith path and through Roseburn Park then onto the road to take us along to Russell Road and the cycle path.

This is a gentle ride on a mostly flat, well-surfaced quiet roads and paths. The total length of the ride is around 5.5 miles. It’s perfect for beginners or anyone who’s not been on a bike for a while or anyone who just fancies some fresh air after a busy day! We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It’s a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential. This ride is suitable for all bike types.

Bring money for coffee and wrap up well, hands and feet get cold when cycling so thick socks and gloves required
