Join us for a mystery tour FridayRidey to the Hardback Cafe at Shadwell Library, it is its last day before closing for August holidays, some hills but nothing to challenging

Hardback Cafe at Shadwell Library, it is CASH only

Pace will be under 10 mph, ideal for those who wish to try road riding without the speed and pressure

Leaving Adel we head for Eccup Reservoir, cross A61 to pick up the cycle path round the back of Leeds Grammar School, it has degraded in parts, skinny road tyres may struggle a little bit, but the option is to walk the short section. Turning left onto Wigton lane to the T junction left onto Wike Ridge lane and follow down to East Keswick, we pop out onto Harewood avenue for 0.4 mile before turning left and returning to East Keswick, it is on to Bardsey, as we start the climb up Church lane we turn off left onto Smithy lane then Tithe Barn lane, coming back out on Blackmoor lane making our way back to Shadwell and one more climb before lunch on Hobberley lane

Leaving the cafe we head back through Shadwell, on Wigton lane we turn right onto Manor house lane and back around the back of the school and follow our way past Eccup Reservoir Adel

Bike lock is a must, spare inner tube and pennies for lunch
