The A57 is closed between Ladybower and Glossop for 3 weeks. Currently, bicycles can go up, although they can shut the road at any point if deemed necessary. Ths plan is to leave Yorkshire Bridge Inn at 10, cycle up, hopefully to the top, and then come back to a cafe in Bamford ( approx 18 miles ). Those that want to can then be entertained with another 10 -12 mile circuit after that.( route to be sorted ).
If we're not allowed up Snake pass, we'll have a meander round Ladybower for our mid-summer fun.
As the road is closed to traffic or we do Ladybower this is an open ride.
The current forecast for 26/6/26 is sunshine and 26 C.
