Excuse any repetition in this description - i am having a real problem with the web site!
in short - start at either Adel church or mavis Lane (cookridge) post office.
let me know which. Adel 09.3 am . and . Approx time at post office 09.50 am.
thro cookridge, back of Bramhope, small part of Chevin, skirt the airport, down to Scotland Lane in Horsforth, then a coffee stop, if nice and if group wants to stop, then back home via the lower end of Horsforth, Cookridge and Adel.
We can add some further "loops"/distance if the group wish.
this is the slightly easier of the two chevin rides that i do. it is a varied route.
Excellent to help you gain confidence on the roads.

Starting near the Post office/shop at the end of Mavis Lane (junction with Cookridge Lane), we head we head North towards Bramhope but turn left beforehand, onto Moorland Road, which bends around to join the short cycle path adjacent to Old Lane . We cross the A658 carefully to the end of Old lane, and onto Carlton Lane, then Cemetery Road and then Warren House Lane, xing over the roundabout with the A659 by the airport. We go straight on, past the airport and turning right onto Scotland lane. We bike to the end, turn left down Brownberrie Lane to the Old Ball pub. We then head thro Horsforth on Low Lane, to the roundabout with Miller and Carter. We turn left up the Ring road for a short distance, turning left onto Parkstone Ave, and thro the Iveson estate back on to Otley Old road and our start point.

The route has a varied number of roads - some quiet , some busier. Whilst there are some small inclines none are long or horrendous. This route is to help ladies get further confidence on the roads over longer distances.

cafe stop somewhere in Horsforth

Please come fully equipped with a drink, helmet etc.

We never leave anyone behind
