Out towards Lilliesleaf but continuing on towards Ellison and Camieston! We cross over the A699 to White Lee then continue down to Newton St Boswells.
Coffee stop at Milestone Garden centre ( if you have a portable bike lock please bring it as bikes parked out of sight here)
After coffee we cross over the A 68 on the cycle path (safest) to Dryburgh and crossing the wobbly Dryburgh bridge! We turn left and continue through Clinthill and Clintmains to join the B6404 over Mertoun Bridge!
After Mertoun bridge we turn left past Benrig Cemetery and join the rough B699 to Maxton. Taking the first turning right we continue back to Ancrum ( crossing the A68) via Longnewton, Sandystones and Pinnacle joining the B6400 back to Ancrum Cross Keys!
