The route follows the trans Pennine trail all the way into York and back again. There aren’t any toilets at the start of this ride so please make allowances.

This one is mainly trails and quiet roads. Make sure your bike is in good running order and you have spare inner tubes and a pump. Bring money for cafe stops and a drink. Dress for the weather and your comfort.

We will have a breakfast stop at Pollington and a lunch stop at cycle heaven in York. On the way home we usually stop at a shop and a pub if needed.

Please wear a helmet.

This ride is challenging purely because of the distance. We will need to ride at a 12 mph average to complete in reasonable time.
