Armley Mills Industrial Museum to Rodley Nature Reserve

Come and join us on this family ride to Rodley Nature Reserve taking in some of the spectacular scenery on the Aire Valley Tow Path before reaching our midpoint of the ride, Rodley Nature Reserve. The route is completely traffic free as it stays on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal all the way to the Reserve where you can watch wildlife in its natural habitat.  There is also a Cafe where we can stop for a breather and some refreshments before making our way back.  At around 9 miles this ride is perfect for families and cyclists who want to ride in a traffic free environment and go that little bit further on the bike! This ride uses part of National Cycle Network (NCN) route 66. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
