Armley Mills to Apperley Bridge Marina along the Canal

A nice easy ride along the canal towpath from Armley to Apperley Bridge where we'll stop for a cuppa and cake at the Marina before returning via the same route. Traffic-free and flat as a pancake (apart from a couple of locks on the way out!) this route is ideal for anyone who wants to build up stamina and/or confidence, and we'll go at a speed that suits everyone - no-one gets left behind! Dress for the weather conditions - several thin layers are best, gloves and a waterproof might come in handy. As the towpath may become muddy after wet weather, MTB bikes or hybrids with MTB tyres are preferable.
