This route meanders through Tameside country with canals and a bird sanctuary to enjoy as well as Victorian engineering to admire. It has some challenging hills as well.

PLEASE NOTE The route takes us on the Rochdale Canal, suburban streets main roads and designated cycle lanes. It does have some challenging climbs to negotiate.

Cash/Card will be required for café stop, where we can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.

Please ensure you have a pump and an appropriate inner tube for your bike and sufficient drink for the ride.Helmets are a must.
