Starting point

Derbyshire
DE6 1AA

The trail does have some exposed parts offering beautiful long reaching views of the Derbyshire countryside as it meanders, in parallel, in parts, with the A515 to Buxton. Because of that it can be a little chilly if the weather is inclement. Some of the old stations along the route have refreshment kiosks and seating, should a rest-bite be needed on the journey to and from Parsley Hay.
