Where do we start?
The picnic area next to the visitor centre ramp, the ride leader will approach any cyclists loitering nearby to ensure we collect everyone.

What is the Route:
Starting at Attenborough we head along the trails towards Attenborough Village, pass the cricket club and then onto the Bird Sanctuary until the Beeston End where we join the River Trent to follow it along to Cranfleet Lock. Here we take to the lanes to find our way to Trent Meadows, cut through it and join the farm track back to the visitor centre via the train lines.

How far is the route?
Approx 7 miles of easy going track, weather might add hindrances such as wind or rain so please dress appropriately. No hills but there are a few hump back bridges.

What sort of bike should I use?
Racers will suffer on some of the gravel or mud trails but any sort of hybrid or mountain bike will be fine.

Will there be food?
The visitor centre has a cafe but may not be open on Sundays so please pack trail snacks and a picnic if you wish to eat on the wheel!

How old/young do I need to be?
Anyone under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult, anyone classed as an OAP are welcome as this ride is a mellow day out around the bird sanctuary no boy racing.

What do I do if I am late?
If you are lost or late please ring Kris on 07445370210 to let him know so he can make arrangements and let the rest of the group know your on your way, if you are having difficulty finding the start line he may be able to give you directions from prominent landmarks.
