Starting point

Nottinghamshire
NG9 6DY

Locations enroute:
Attenborough Nature Reserve, Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, River Trent, River Leen, Beeston Lock, Big Track, Nottingham Canal.

Route
We ride from the visitors centre through the nature reserve of Attenborough to join the River Trent. Here we follow the River Trent through Beeston Lock until we join the Big Track.
The track snakes along the Trent until it comes to the flyover here we join the Thane Road cycle path which crosses the canal and train lines to the Uni. The cyclepath then heads to the River Leen and cuts through the hospital until it arrives back at the Uni Campus near the Golf Course.
After a short ride through the houses we ride past the golf course and up to the hall for a quick look before heading to the cafe for refreshments.
From the cafe we take a ride around the lake then out of the Deer Park to follow the Wollaton to Beeston Trail all the way through Beeston South until we get to Train Station where we ride to join the canal at Beeston Lock, then back through the reserve to the visitors centre.

The journey is not too strenuous and does cover several trails so wider wheels are better. We travel with no mechs and techs or Meds so please be able to tend to yourself and your wheels, however if we can help we will obviously :)

Helmets must be worn to ride on these events and no wheelies please!

Refreshments
There will be an opportunity to stop off at Wollaton Hall Stables Cafe where there is a cafe for hot food and refreshments. There will be water breaks along the route.

Expenses and Contacts
Nottingham has a train station for those not mobile in a car, also so does Beeston and Attenborough, these are the closest stations to the visitor centre.
Alternatively if you do drive, the visitor centre has a substantial Car Parking area. Also the city centre has multiple parking opportunities for those who wish to add a few extra miles to the ride.
