This is an approximatly 20 mile circuit to Bankfoot Via Almondbank and then back via Luncarty.

Starting from outside Bells Sports Centre on Perths North inch we follow the cycle path up the banks of the River Tay and then along the River Almond to the lower reaches of Almondbank. Here we divert on to the road through the village over the narrow bridge and up the hill. This hill can challenge us. From there its into Pitcairngreen and keep left past the pub and we follow the signpsts for the 6 miles to Bankfoot. This section has a number of short shartp climbs where we all need to go slowly and use our gears.

At Bankfoot we turn right and opposite the Visitor centre it's a futher right off the road onto the cycle path. It's then follow the path to Luncarty, taking care through the village and rejoin the path all the way back to the North Inch

We can stop whenever we want or need to! Sometimes we will stop to catch our breath, sometimes we will stop to take a photo, sometimes we will stop to take in the view - we're out to enjoy ourselves, so please let the ride leader know if there are any stops you want us to make.

On all rides a helmet is mandatory.

Please dress for the weather, wearing whatever is comfortable for you on the bike. Generally clothing should not flap about at the ankles, as it can get caught in the chain, and watch for any clothing catching on the saddle.

Bring water and whatever you might need should you get a puncture.
