Leaving Newport, we will take the cycle path to Marshfield before picking up the bus lanes and cycle paths into Cardiff, before heading towards Penarth and taking the back roads to Barry Island.
The return route will take us into Penarth and over the barrage, before picking up the coast road back to Newport.

We will have a café stop in Barry.

A good pump, a spare inner tube and a small amount of cash/cards for coffee stops are always a good idea. Plus a helmet for your safety.
