Barton Marina Double Loop

This is a two-part ride in which, after the first of the two loops, any rider who wishes to leave the ride can reenter the marina as we pass it after this first 18 miles.
We leave the marina, turning right toward Walton on Trent and our first short and not demanding climb. We head out through quiet villages on mainly quiet country roads, and at 13 miles we stop at the Rolliston Visitor Centre for tea and cake before we return to the starting point in Barton Under Needwood, and we hope all riders will want to ride the next section of 17.5 miles this having a number of short climbs a stop will be had at the Deer Park near Hoar Cross where we turn toward home to complete this 34 mile Guided ride.
