The route is undulating and goes through Old Basing and Mapledurwell, crosses the A30 twice and goes up the steep hill to Newnham then stopping at Andwell brewery cafe before continuing back to Eastrop park.
You will need
- A bike with gears and brakes which work.
- Make sure your tyres are well inflated/ firm
- Spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump (in case of puncture)
- Money and bike lock for cafe stop
- Clothing appropriate for the weather
