The route follows the canal tow path to Pennington Flash where we will explore the new upgraded paths around Leigh Sports Village and then a gravel track thats adjacent to Atherleigh Way where we will travel crosscountry to the Greyhound roundabout to Glazebury which takes us to the delightful Windy Bank.
We join the East Lancs cycle path towards Astley and rejoin the Bridgewater way up canal to Worsley where we will have a coffee at the horse box and return opposite towpath past the RHS back to Spinners

Flat ride generally easy going with good maintained paths

Please bring suitable inner tubes/tools for your tyre should you get a puncture.
