There are some hilly sections but we never rush, there is always time to pause for a drink at the top. We explore many of the ancient lanes that have now become cycleways and find the many hidden green spaces across the town.

These rides are a sociable way to explore our Stevenage cycleway network and find useful routes to use when cycling for everyday journeys.

We make the most of the Stevenage cycleway network with a few quiet roads or lanes used to link up the traffic free sections.

No stops are planned but most routes include an opportunity to take pictures of a nice view as we enjoy our natural surroundings.

We are never far from the start but do bring an inner tube just in case of punctures. You may also wish to bring a drink and/or snack - and don't forget rainwear or an extra layer depending on the forecast!

Beginner and returning cyclists are particularly welcome on these rides.
