A leisurely easy cycle ride around Basingstoke for all ages
Most of the route is traffic free starting off from the Peace Gardens through the War Memorial Park, down to Eastrop Park, out along the cycle path on Swing Swang lane back through Basing View before heading back into the War Memorial Park.
Use any bike type so long as it's in working order - make sure your tyres are well inflated
Please wear a helmet. • Bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump (plus puncture repair kit if you have one). • Also, bring water, a lock and money for a drink after • Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather (that won’t get caught in your chain etc) layers are good for the colder weather.
