Berkeley bimble… ( to celebrate leading my 50th Breeze ride)

We will start in the village of Frampton on Severn and head off along the canal tow path for a short time before leaving the canal and taking the country lanes all the way to Berkeley Castle where we will stop for refreshments at the lovely walled garden cafe. We return along the same route.
The canal path is generally good but is likely to be a bit slippery in places with some narrow bits but we will take it very slowly. There is an option to start in slimbridge avoiding the canal path. This option is all on road and reduces the distance by about 2 miles.
Helmets are compulsory and please make sure your bike is in good working order. Please bring a spare inner tube/puncture repair kit and wear appropriate clothing for the conditions. Please bring money for refreshments. The time allowed for this ride is only an estimate, so please allow extra time in case the ride is extended for unforeseen circumstances.
