‘Challenging’ rides are for those who can ride 30+ miles, depending on who signs up, at 12+ mph, on average comfortably and who are confident, competent group riders.

A helmet is advisable. Please ensure your bike is in full working order and your tyres are inflated to the correct level, as this will make for easier riding.
Please have a spare tube, tyre levers, a pump, any tools you need for your bike, a water bottle to keep hydrated, a snack, front and back working LIGHTS on flashing mode, a BELL and FULL mudguards please in wet weather to keep you and the group dry.
The routes are mainly on quiet roads and cycle paths.
Please have in place a means of getting home just in case you have a mechanical we cannot fix, someone at home to pick you up, a taxi that can transport you and your bike or a bike recovery company like ETA.
