Greystoke Village Car Park

Join us for a leisurely 13 mile ride from Greystoke.  This will be a gentle ride on the road exploring the villages beyond Penrith. The route is all on good tarmac roads and will be suitable for all bike types.   This ride will be suitable for beginners or ladies returning to cycling as well as being a great ride for more experienced cyclists.   We will start from Greystoke car park and will mainly cycle along quiet B roads.  During the ride we will pass through the villages of Blencow, Laithes, Catterlen, Newton Reigny, Newbiggin and Greystoke Gill before returning to Greystoke.  There are stunning views of the Pennines on this route and we will pass through some pretty villages. &nbsp  We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.  Our aim is for everyone to enjoy their ride.  The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding and make links with others. All welcome and we will not leave anyone behind. Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in.  It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
