As part of this year’s bike week “The worlds biggest ride” Let’s Go are organising a themed social ride from Danson park 9.30am start, aiming to reach back at 2.30pm on Sunday 30-5-21, a 30 mile steady themed “low risk” fun route around parts of SE & SW London where we pass 7 beautiful murals en route, and the site of the wonderful Brixton windmill, as well as passing through many green spaces and other places of interest with a brief lunch stop in Burgess park. Its gonna be a fun ride!

Please ensure you are ok riding 30 miles, No major hills, we wait for all riders no one is left behind. Suitable for all bike types.

Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height also that you are dressed for the weather on the day.

All routes have been checked and risk assessed prior to the rides going ahead.

Covid-19 and safety info.

It is important that we maintain a 2m social distance where possible, never less than 1m. Its Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users on shared paths. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe. Riders are advised to bring face masks in case there is an incident where wearing a mask would be appropriate, hand sanitiser is also advised. Bring your own tools and equipment should the worst happed, do not touch other riders bikes or equipment, (respect others) don’t attend if you have been told to self-isolate or have covid symptom’s, please Inform the co -ordinator/leader if you develop symptoms and test positive after the ride by emailing: [email protected] Your bike must be in road worthy condition and tyres correctly inflated, you should have at least one spare innertube, and ensure that your seat is at the correct height for your comfort and riding position, and that you are dressed for the weather on the day, please inform the leader in confidence if you are taking any prescribed medication of have any medical conditions as this info will help greatly if first aid is required. Please bring water and any refreshments required for the ride.
