Bike Week: Poole Bay Sunset Ride (Ride 1)

A joint Bournemouth/Poole ride for Bike Week 2018 [http://bikeweek.org.uk/]

A gentle social ride along the Promenade from Shore Road Poole to Bournemouth Pier. This ride is largely traffic free and is low speed, so no one gets left behind! There are lovely views of the Beach and Poole Bay during the ride. We stop for 10-15 minutes at Bournemouth Pier to enjoy the view and meet up with Ride 2 and then return to Shore Road.

This is called Ride 1, as on the return leg we should be joined by riders on Ride 2 who start later and are riding from Bournemouth to Poole and back.

Please note. You ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. Pedestrians have priority on traffic free sections and there is a maximum speed in these areas of 10 mph. There may be some sand on the path on parts of the route. The ride will not take place if there are strong winds and/or heavy rain.
