A new beginners ride for both men and women on a Wednesday evening. If you want to build up your confidence, meet new people, improve your fitness or just want to get outside in the warmer months then this is for you. Don't be put off if you don't own a stitch of lycra! Believe it or not...it's not compulsory to wear it :-)

The route we take is entirely off road and follows The Plym Cycle Trail. We ride over vast viaducts and through ancient woodland and this route takes in some beautiful views and scenery.

There will be plenty of opportunity to stop for drinks and to catch your breath.

If you don't own a bike don't despair! For £3.00 we can provide you with a bike and helmet. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you do need to borrow a bike and if you can, leave a message on this site so we can get one out for you before you arrive. Please ensure you wear suitable clothing appropriate to the weather. Although it may be warm, when the sun starts to set under the canopy of the trees it can get chilly. Things to bring: 1. If you have a bike, ensure it is fully working and tyres are inflated. 2. If you bring your bike, an inner tube to fit your bike 3. A helmet 4. Water/drink to stay hydrated. 5. A small snack/cereal bar 6. A sense of humour!

This ride is entirely aimed at beginners, so if you haven't cycled for years, are returning, or wanting to improve your confidence this is the ride for you. We are qualified British Cycling Leaders with years of experience between us. We are a friendly bunch and supportive bunch and want you to enjoy being out on your bike as much as we do!
