Blackpool Fish, Chips & Ice Cream Ride

This is a chance for everyone who likes a nice flat ride to enjoy a steady ride to Blackpool for some traditional fish, chips & ice cream. We'll ride out from Longridge to Blackpool on the back roads before riding all down the coast to Lytham St Annes & our favourite fish & chip café. As part of our process of continuous improvement we're coming back a slightly different way, looping around to Kirkham & Treales before picking up the Guild Wheel route to the north of Preston and on to Grimsargh before picking up the old route back into Longridge. This should be a lot more enjoyable as we're avoiding the busy Warton to Preston stretch. This will be a lovely ride with something for everyone. We'll ride at a steady pace of 11-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
