Please arrive at 09:45 for the briefing, introductions and cycle check. I have listed it as a Blazing Blue, with the intention that we will keep the average speed to about 11mph.
We head out of Upton towards Gainsborough and head down to the Bridge where we will dismount to navigate the X roads/lights before following the Old Trent Road down to the Old Shipyard and up to Beckingham. We head south past West Burton Power Station to Sturton le Steeple where we turn left and follow the quiet lane to the "Threepenny bit House" where we can stop and read the local info before heading to Cottam and Rampton, passing Sundown Adventureland and heading down to the river at Church Laneham. At Dunham a stop at Country Kitchen to refuel before crossing the river to Newton on Trent and gong up through the village to Torksey Lock. Turning right at Sand Lane it is quiet roads back towards Sturton by Stow and Upton.
If you suspect that you have any Covid-19 symptoms please take care, you must not join the ride.
