Strating outside the Methodist Chapel on Upton High Street, plenty of parking space. Alternative for those who prefer a shorter ride is to meet at The Old Shipyard That is at the end of Station Road Beckingham, or along the Trent from Trent Port PH if cycling there. Do bring a helmet, puncture repait stuff, cards or cash for the stop. Average speed in the 11-14 mph range, but will adjust the pace for steadier participants. No one gets left behind.

A very flat ride along the Trent and out across the flat countryside to the West. We follow the Warping Drain back towards Owsten Ferry and can also take a short stop at the Lancaster memorial.

Mostly light traffic, minor roads and just one climb back up to the start but not too arduous.

Shepherd's Place cafe at Westwoodside/Grazelound

As always please Wear a helmet and bring the means to fix punctres and cash for the cafe stop. I think they may now also accept cards. A cycle lock would also be advisable.

We never leave anyone behind
