Car Park at Wombourne Railway Station, Bratch Lane, Wombourne Height barrier in operation.

A ride through the quiet lanes of Staffordshire to the Lazy Days cafe in Brewood for lunch. This is a great little cafe serving both savoury and sweet items. Then cycle to Chillington Hall for a Bluebell Walk at 2pm. Cost £5. I have cycled past this magnificent building many times and look forward to seeing it and its grounds close up when it is opened to the public on Sunday May 8th. I would suggest bringing a pair of trainers in a backpack if you normally wear cleated cycle shoes for the bluebell walk. The 2 mile walk should take around 1 hour so ETA Wombourne 4.30 - 5pm. (If the weather is rainy then the ride may be just to Brewood and back) Kindly meet at the South Staffs Railway walk car park (Wombourne Station) at 10.15am for a brief bike check and introductions. Please remember to bring a spare inner tube for your bike. Looking forward to seeing you. Contact Leah 07905068818 if you want to discuss this ride further.
