S36 3ZB

A challenging ride using some of the beautiful countryside used by the Tour de France in 2014

A route of two parts - firstly we have some short steepish climbs on our first loop from Bolsterstone to Midhope and back, and then we descend down Carr road to cross over to the opposite side of the valley where the climbs are gentler but longer. We will stop off at Bank View Cafe Langsett for refreshments before crossing back over the dam wall at Langsett to return to Bolsterstone

We will be using most quiet lanes.

Our cafe stop will be at Bank View Cafe Langsett, perhaps better known to some as the spotty cafe as it’s exterior was painted in the colours of the king of the mountains for the Tour de France in 2014

Please wear helmets, and bring along the means to repair a puncture, and money for the cafe stop

First-timers welcome!
