Botanica via Bohemia

A pleasant and varied ride exploring the flatlands of south Manchester through woods, along river sides, around a lake, through a nature reserve and down the leafy lanes of Didsbury.  A main stop at the vibrant Beech Road with it's galleries, bars/restaurants, cafés and alternative shops described as having a truly bohemian atmosphere. A choice of refreshment may be difficult or just settle for a picnic on the grass either in the park (with kids playground) or on the village green. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
