If you’re in need of inspiration or encouragement to get out and explore your surroundings, this ride is one of many we are going to be running from Sheldon Country Park during 2019.

A combination of road, off road cycling from Sheldon Country Park car park follow cycle route along the Cole Valley Route. Passing the airport plane viewing point, through to Meridan Park onto Babbs Mill, onto the Fort Shopping Centre, where we will stop for a McDonalds snack and drink. Continue along roads to rejoin the Cole Valley Route, through Marlborough House Community Park, to Blakesley House for a quick drink (if open and we have a time), then follow roads to the Sheldon Country Park car park where our little jaunt ends.

* We say you will need to have road cycling experience be very confident and comfortable cycling on the road and be able to ride with a group.
* The pace of the group will be around 8-10 kph.
* Ensure you dress for the weather and bring adequate fluids for your needs.
* Ensure you know how to maintain your bike and bring a spare tube and be able to repair or change your own tube.
* Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied throughout the ride by an adult who is a cable cyclist.

* The group brief will be at 10am will be leaving promptly at 10.15am so don't be late.

* Bikes: There are a limited number of bikes available for people to use. Don't just assume there will be a bike available for you. Please contact the ride leader once you have booked on if you require the use of a bike. In order not to delay the ride, we state YOU MUST be able to collect the bike between 9.30 & 9.45 am.
