This is the car park for users of the BVW and is located opposite the Windhover Pub.
We will meet in this car park, brief and head across the road to the start of the track, heading off at 09:00, NN6 8GH

Route Details
From - to: Northampton - Market Harborough
Distance: 14 miles each way
Terrain: Disused railway path, rolled stone surface.
Access: Various
National Cycle Network: National Route 6
Route Description
The relatively flat route follows one of the longest dismantled railway paths in the country and was opened for recreational use in 1993.

Starting in Northampton we will head north along the line, passing the Northampton & Pitsford Steam Railway.
The route passes the villages of:
Brixworth
Lamport
Maidwell
Kelmarsh
Great Oxenden
up to the half way point in Market Harborough

Remember to bring your lights, lamps or head torches, we will be going through the tunnels of Kelmarsh & Great Oxenden

This will be a steady ride with a non drop policy so we will all stick together throughout the journey.
