About the route
The route is largely off-road. Now that the Humber Bank path has dried nicely, we can go along by the river before climbing up to go over the bridge to Barton on Humber. The route is passable on a road bike with care, but a hybrid or mountain bike is better for this route.
Please bring a drink, a spare inner tube and a bike lock if you have one. Helmets are advisable but not compulsory. And if this weather continues, Suncare lotion might be a good idea, too.
