We turn left out of Branxton Church car park, towards East Learmouth, which is approximately 2 miles away. At East Learmouth we turn left after the farm on the B6352 in the direction of Kirk Yetholm. We ride for 2 miles before we turn left and cycle past the old Mindrum Station and cottages. At the T junction we turn left and cycle along the B6396 for 2 miles then turn right and cross the Langham bridge. After a short distance we turn right for 2.5 miles before turning right again and cycling into the quiet village of Pawston. After 1 mile we rejoin the route back towards East Learmouth, where we take a right turn back to Branxton Church car park. Total ride distance 14 miles.

Depending on the ability of the riders, this route can be cut shorter.

We always ride to accommodate the slowest rider and make frequent stops.

It may be showery towards the end of the ride so bring a jacket.

Easy ride with some gentle undulating hills

We'll be riding on back country roads which tend to be quieter. Suitable for a road bike or hybrid.

There will be plenty of time to chat with other riders.

Helmets, a drink and a spare inner tube suitable for your bike are essential.

We especially welcome newbies!
