This 18 mile ride takes us out from Finchampstead though some lovely countryside to Wellington Country Park. Our route will take us though the back of Hogwood, skirts around Farley Hill and then over to Swallowfield and Risely. After refreshments at the Country Park we will return through Arborfield and Barkham.
This route is mainly on quiet lanes with a few busier stretches on main roads with some steady inclines. (see elevation profile on the map below) This is a 'steady' ride so we will aim for a speed of about 8-11 mph.
Please remember to bring a drink, some money for the coffee shop, a lock for your bike and a spare inner tube.
