This ride takes us right around Northwich - without actually going there!
We'll start in Kingsley and go through the lanes to Crowton, Hartford & Davenham. There's an option for a stop at a café just after Davenham but the group may prefer to cycle further before stopping.
We'll go through more quiet lanes passing through Lach Dennis & Plumley before arriving on the outskirts of Knutsford. From there we'll enjoy a pleasant ride through Tatton Park looking out for deer, then more quiet lanes through Rostherne to High Lea & another café to check out. Then down to the River Weaver & and along the private road beside the river, before heading back to Kingsley.
A reasonably flat ride (a few hills but nothing too severe) which gives variety and is long enough to feel as though you've done something!

We will cycle around Northwich without actually going into the town! Leaving from Kingsley (trying to avoid holiday crowds!?) and going either clockwise or anticlockwise through Cheshire villages.

The route is almost entirely on quiet country lanes. There are a few places where we will have to ride for a short time on busier roads, or cross over them. There is short stretch on a private road & good surfaced footpath - road bikes entirely suitable.

We will stop at least once for tea/coffee/cake or other refreshment.

Please bring money for any refreshments you may wish to buy. Helmets are, as always, recommended.

We never leave anyone behind
