This will be the last mid week Summer Breeze ride for 2018 as we are starting to lose the light now! Parking at Manton Club on Retford Road, we will head out to Clumber via roads, tracks and trails. Most of this route is on quiet trails/roads within Clumber Park, with just a couple of busier roads to negotiate. Clumber is undulating, so there are some uphill sections but we can take our time and get off and walk if needs be, you will not get left behind.

Suitable for Hybrid, Trail, Cyclocross and Mountain Bikes.

Please wear comfortable clothing suited to the weather. It is recommended that you carry spare inner tubes, puncture repair kit and a multi tool, just in case you have any mechanical issues. Please check before the ride, that your bike is in a road worthy condition.

It’s a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments as we can call for a drink at the end of the ride.

Wearing a helmet is highly recommended, though not essential.

If time allows, we’ll cycle out towards Thoresby Hall and make this the longest ride to date.

Well done to everyone who has taken part in these beginner summer rides!
