Breeze Christmas Social Ride from FBC to Crowthorne

Dig out that Christmas jumper, decorate your bike or yourself with something Christmassy (if you can) and join me for a festive ride to Esquires Cafe in Buckler's Park, where we'll meet up with other groups of Breeze riders for a Christmas get-together over coffee/tea and cake.

Our route will take us from California Country Park, up White Horse Lane then a big downhill to Eversley Cross and on to Yateley and Sandhurst. After riding off-road through 2 parks, we'll cross the bypass to Broadmooor and cycle through Wellington College grounds (NOT up Broadmoor Hill this time!) A few quiet roads in Crowthorne will take us to the cafe at Buckler's Park. The outward journey is 15 miles, then it is just 5 miles back to Finchampstead after our social/coffee break.

Festive attire is not compulsory but cycle helmets are! Please also wear layers, warm gloves, etc. and bring: money or card for payment at the cafe, a bottle of water, spare inner tube for your tyre size and a bike lock if you have one.

Please check your bike before coming out - especially tyres inflated correctly, both brakes working and oil on your chain.
