Breeze Derby - Christmas Meet Up 2025

This ride is one of 3 that will meet up at Antlers Bistro East Leake at around 11.30am. We will take a direct route starting at Parkers Piece (9.45am) and riding to Alvaston Park (by the Sustrans Post (10.05am) passing through Shardlow and on to Kegworth before West Leake and East Leake. Depending on the time and weather we may return via Lockington and Hemington. Around 60km from Parker's Piece or 50km from Alvaston Park.

This ride follows the usual mixture of shared paths, low traffic lanes and a couple of sections of busier main roads

Helmets are advised - I will be wearing one. Please bring everything with you that you might need on the ride eg spares, tools, inner tube (in case you are the one that the flat gremlin chooses this week) extra clothing, snacks and drink, sharing is not encouraged. Please do not ride if you feel unwell, have Covid symptoms or have been advised to self isolate. If you test positive after the ride, please let the ride leader know.
