Breeze Derby - Jolly Jaunt to Jacksdale

Starting from our regular place at Parker's Piece, Chester Green, we will be riding a new route this week. After making our way to Shipley Park on mostly familiar roads we then go on through Langley Mill to Brinsley and refreshments at Jacksdale Garden Centre (Pavillion Tearooms, GF Menu available). Our return journey takes us via Golden Valley to Ripley where we join the familiar route back riding past Denby Pottery. A slightly longer ride (53km) which is 'undulating' (519m).

This ride follows the usual mixture of shared paths, low traffic lanes, roads on a housing estate and a couple of sections of busier main roads. There are a couple of sections of rougher unmade roads.

Helmets are advised - I will be wearing one. Please bring everything with you that you might need on the ride eg spares, tools, inner tube (in case you are the one that the flat gremlin chooses this week) extra clothing, snacks and drink, sharing is not encouraged. Please do not ride if you feel unwell, have Covid symptoms or have been advised to self isolate. If you test positive after the ride, please let the ride leader know.
