Starting point

E20 1DY

Meeting 0730 at the Timberlodge cafe, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 1A Honour Lea Ave, London E20 1DY (Close to the Velodrome on the North side of Park, nearest stations are Stratford underground and Stratford International (5 mins ride).

This is for experienced riders who have cycling skills and able to maintain a steady pace. We will start on time and continue round up to one hour - those wishing to continue may do so, it is an opportunity to ride on roads at a quiet time and build stamina. The group may split up to cater for different speeds and meet up at end for a coffee at the Timber lodge cafe.

Make sure your bike is in good working order ready for your ride. You must carry a spare inner tube, pump and any other tools needed to remove your wheel, just in case you’re unlucky enough to get a puncture along the way.

Don’t forget to bring snacks, water and appropriate clothing for the weather on the day. Bring adequate sun protection and any medication you may require for the day. Some money to purchase at any of the stops or Oystercard for onward journey.
