This week's route heads all the way up the Guided busway to St Ives. The ride is aimed at intermediate riders at about 12mph.
It is really important to bring lights in as well as a pump, spare tube and some water and please wear a cycle helmet along with clothing appropriate to the weather.
Due to Covid precautions please bring your own PPE (mask, sterile gloves and alcohol hand gel – we are unable to share any PPE or cycling equipment with you) in case of an emergency. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride.
It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure.
We meet at the front of Rutland Cycling 9 High Street, Histon, Cambridge CB24 9JD and could you please arrive 10 mins before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. We will be starting promptly due to light constraints. If you need it there is on road parking in the lay-by opposite the co-op by the village green.
If you become unable to attend please cancel your place or let me know beforehand.
